Infibeam Avenues Ltd has launched the CCAvenue SoundBox Max, an advanced Point of Sale (POS) device aimed at transforming payment acceptance for merchants nationwide.

The CCAvenue SoundBox Max represents a significant leap in payment technology, offering merchants a versatile and cost-effective solution to accept payments seamlessly. Designed to cater to the diverse needs of India's retail landscape, this device supports various payment methods including UPI, debit cards, and credit cards, addressing a crucial gap identified by retailers across the country.

"Our CCAvenue SoundBox Max is designed to reshape the payment landscape by providing flexibility and convenience in accepting payments. The decision to incorporate debit and credit card functionalities was driven by market feedback, highlighting the necessity for a comprehensive payment acceptance solution beyond UPI. "Many retailers were losing potential sales due to the limited payment options available," Patel explained. "The CCAvenue SoundBox Max addresses this challenge by enabling secure and efficient transactions through its support for both card payments and UPI."

Key features of the CCAvenue SoundBox Max include support for static and dynamic QR codes, NFC-based contactless payments, and chip-based card transactions. Its user-friendly design includes a large front-facing display for transaction details and a rear display with a keypad for customer inputs, ensuring clarity and ease of use in bustling retail environments.

Infibeam Avenues also announced strategic partnerships with leading financial institutions and service providers to enhance the device's capabilities further. Collaborations with Karnataka Bank, ICICI Bank, and others aim to integrate value-added services like Card EMI options, thereby catering to diverse retail sectors including supermarkets, quick-service restaurants, and fashion boutiques.

Infibeam Avenues also announced strategic partnerships with leading financial institutions and service providers at Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024 to enhance the device's capabilities further. Collaborations with Karnataka Bank, ICICI Bank, and others aim to integrate value-added services like Card EMI options, thereby catering to diverse retail sectors including supermarkets, quick-service restaurants, and fashion boutiques.
