Infibeam Avenues' Digital Payments Platform CCAvenue Obtains Renewal of PCI DSS 3.2.1 Certification

CCAvenue payment gateway, the flagship brand of Infibeam Avenues Ltd, has recently announced that its PCI DSS 3.2.1 certificate has been renewed for the period 2023-24, validating its stringent compliance with the latest data security standards for payment cards. Bring among the first entities in India to have been PCI DSS compliant, CCAvenue has been a PCI DSS certified service provider since 2007.
The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council was established in 2006 by five leading credit card providers such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and JCB. With the objective of setting an international information security standard for entities handling branded credit cards, the council created Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This standard provides an enhanced framework for developing and maintaining a robust payment card data security process, including prevention, detection and appropriate reaction to security incidents. PCI DSS 3.2.1 is the latest version of the PCI DSS.
