CCAvenue to go live with Bassein Catholic Co-op Bank's net banking facility

In an endeavour to augment the revenue stream of its merchant partners, CCAvenue Payment Gateway, Infibeam Avenues' leading payment aggregator will soon be including the internet banking facility of Bassein Catholic Co-operative Bank Ltd (BCCB) in its widest payment network. Merchants on board CCAvenue's advanced platform can leverage this lucrative payment option to expand their businesses substantially.
Bassein Catholic Cooperative Bank is a prominent urban cooperative bank in Maharashtra with a large network of 63 branches across the state. It was conferred the Scheduled Bank status in 1990. As per the Audit Report for 2022-2023, BCCB achieved a business mix of Rs 12,712 crore, while recording a net profit of Rs 76.58 crore as on 31st March 2023. The bank's deposits increased from Rs 7,970 crore in FY21-22 to Rs 8,159 crore in FY22-23, whereas advances grew from Rs 4,155 crore to Rs 4,553 crore during the same period.
The huge customer base of BCCB will shortly be able to make easy payments via internet banking mode while shopping on innumerable eCommerce websites powered by CCAvenue through a direct debit in their account. CCAvenue has the largest direct debit engine in the country, comprising the netbanking facility of nearly 60 leading banks operating in India.
