The 6th India Digital Awards was conducted as part of the 10th India Digital Summit 2016 held at New Delhi on 10th February 2016. In all there were 6 Categories and 32 sub-categories for the internet and mobile value added services industry. The main categories were: Digital Advertising, Website, Mobile, Digital Payment, Digital Social & Economic Empowerment and Special Awards. CCAvenue won the award in the Payments category, which encourages the growth of the Digital Payments' industry by rewarding the best works.

Mr Jayant Sinha, the Minister of State for Finance in the Union Government addressed the eminent gathering at the 10th India Digital Summit earlier in the day. The IAMAI awards ceremony, held later in the evening, was attended by the Who's Who of the industry as well as top celebrities. A key highlight of the event was when Mr. Anand Mahindra, the renowned business entrepreneur, was adjudged the Social Media Person of the Year - 2015.

In addition, CCAvenue had also won several accolades in the past such as Best Payment Innovation Award - 2013' at the eRetail awards presented by Franchise India, the 'Best Digital Payment Facilitator- 2014' at IAMAI's 5th India Digital Awards, and 'Best Digital Payment Facilitator - 2015' at The eTales award presented by eTailing India.
