To activate or revive the Visa and MasterCard payment options for your website in your CCAvenue account, please follow the steps mentioned below:  

MasterCard International has revised some of its rules and has implemented a program called the MSP (Member Service Provider) Program across all of Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Under the new MSP Rules, every sub-merchant has to enter into agreement with the acquiring bank. The MasterCard payouts will be done directly by the acquiring bank to the sub-merchant's bank account. The sub-merchant's website name will be reflected in the card holders' statement. Please note this process is only for MasterCard payment option and CCAvenue will make payouts for all other payment options as per the terms of the Agreement.

If you are interested in reviving the MasterCard payment option, in your CCAvenue account, kindly revert with the following details, vide email to compliance@ccavenue.com.

After we receive your email, we will forward the same to Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank), for a pre approval of your merchant account. Axis Bank would be giving us the pre-approval within 7 days.

Upon receipt of the pre-approval from Axis Bank, you will then have to do the following acts :           

1) Open a Bank account at the nearest convenient Axis Bank This account can be Saving Account in the event it is of Individual and NGO's, Charitable Trusts, Non Profit Organizations, and should be Current Account in the event it is a Limited Liability Company, Partnership Firm and Sole Proprietor. Please note that the account has to be of the same name (legal entity) that is signing the agreement with Axis Bank.

2) Place a fixed deposit for Rs. 10,000/- thereby to enable Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank) to place a lien over it to cover any chargeback losses. Provide us with the copies of the Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank) Account number and Fixed Deposit number for the same.

3) Please download Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank) Legal Agreement and print out on plain paper.      

Please get the Agreement franked for the value of Rs 300/- OR separately attach Rs 300/- Non-Judicial stamp paper with the following content written on it "This Non-Judicial Stamp Paper forms an integral part of the Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank) Internet Gateway Merchant Legal Agreement executed by ______________________ (name) on _____________(date)." (Kindly ensure that the stamp paper is in your name if you are entering into an agreement with us in your personal capacity, or in the name of Firm/ Company/ Organization etc.). Stamp and Sign should be on the bottom right hand corner of each page, you should sign if you are entering into an agreement with us in your personal capacity, or the concerned signing authority (with a firm/company/trust etc name and designation Rubber Stamp - in the event it is a Limited Liability company, NGO, Charitable Trust, Non Profit Organization, Partnership firm and sole proprietorship firm) and towards the end of the agreement in the column mentioned 'For and on behalf of the Merchant' and should also be signed by the witness towards the end of the agreement in the column mentioned 'In the presence of'. Please do also fill out the relevant details in the SCHEDULE.    

4) Please download Axis Bank Enablement Form and print out on plain paper. You should stamp and Sign it on the first page top, bottom right hand corner of each page and towards the end of the Enablement Form. Please DO NOT fill the details in the 2nd page of the Enablement Form (except for stamp/signature).

Documents Required          

Along with the Axis Bank Legal Agreement and the Axis Bank  Enablement Form (both as mentioned above), please also include these documents relevant to the status of the business organization:    

I. Individual:            

a) Copy of your Driver's License OR Election card OR Passport duly attested as "True Copy" by you. Please note that your photograph should be clearly visible in any of the above photo identities submitted by you.  

b) Office Address proof: Copy of your Landline telephone bill OR electric city bill OR Bank statement (latest - for the last 2 months) duly attested as True Copy by you.

c) Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year duly attested as "True Copy" by you.

d)"Charge name" letter - To be signed by an authorized signatory in the format given below
 

e) Copy of your PAN card duly attested as True Copy by you.
f) Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration duly attested as "True Copy" by you.

II. Sole Proprietor

a) Copy of your Driver's License OR Election card OR Passport duly attested as "True Copy" by you. Please note that your photograph should be clearly visible in any of the above photo identities submitted by you.

b) Office Address proof: Copy of your Landline telephone bill OR electric city bill OR Bank statement (latest - for the last 2 months) duly attested as True Copy by you.

c) Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year duly attested as True Copy by you.
d)"Charge name" letter - To be signed by an authorized signatory in the format given below
 

e) Copy of your PAN card duly attested as "True Copy" by you.

f) Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration duly attested as True Copy by you.

III. Partnership (Registered or Unregistered)

a) Copy of your Driver's License OR Election card OR Passport duly attested as "True Copy" by you. Please note that your photograph should be clearly visible in any of the above photo identities submitted by you.

b) Office Address proof. Copy of your Landline telephone bill OR electric city bill OR Bank statement (latest - for the last 2 months) duly attested as True Copy by you.

c) Copy of Partnership Deed duly attested as True Copy by you duly attested as True Copy by you.

d)"Charge name" letter - To be signed by an authorized signatory in the format given below  

e) Copy of PAN card duly attested as True Copy by you. (Firm and Partners)
f) Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year duly attested as "True Copy" by you. (Firm)

g) Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration duly attested as True Copy by you

IV. Limited Liability Companies (Public or Private) / Any other body incorporated under the companies act.

a) Board of Resolution containing the following text matter on Company's letterhead and duly signed by at least TWO Directors

Certified true copy of the resolution passed at the meeting of the committee of Directors of the Company held on..............Resolved that the consent of the Board be and is hereby accorded to enter into an agreement with Axis Bank Ltd., Mumbai for availing of payment gateway services on terms and conditions as specified in the agreement. Further resolved that Mr............. of the company be and hereby severally authorized to sign and execute on behalf of the company, all agreements, undertakings and any other documents that may be necessary for availing the said services from Axis Bank Ltd. And to do all such acts that may be necessary to implement the foregoing resolution.

b) Copy of Memorandum & Articles of Association, which include the Certificate of Incorporation and/or Business Registration Number duly attested as True Copy . An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.

c) Latest list of all Directors with their Addresses If there are more/less directors other than mentioned in the MOA & AOA, then in that case, Form 32 along with the proof of registration with ROC for adding / deleting the name/s of director/s.
d)"Charge name" letter - To be signed by an authorized signatory in the format given below  

e) Copy of PAN card. (Company and Directors) duly attested as True Copy . An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.

f) Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year. (Company) duly attested as "True Copy" . An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.

g) Authorized signatory director's photo id proof. (Passport/driving license/Voters id/Passport) duly attested as "True Copy" . An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.

i) Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration duly attested as True Copy. An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.

V. Non Profit Organization / Non Governmental Organizations (NGO's)/ Charitable Trusts.

a) Resolution from the board of Directors / Trustees containing the following matter on organization's letter head and duly signed by at least TWO Directors/ Trustees:

Certified true copy of the resolution passed at the meeting of the committee of Trustees of the..................................................(name of the trust) held on..............

"Resolved that the consent of the Board be and is hereby accorded to enter into an agreement with Axis Bank Ltd., Mumbai for availing of payment gateway services on terms and conditions as specified in the agreement. (name of the trust) be and hereby severally authorized to sign and execute on behalf of the Trust, all agreements, undertakings and any other documents that may be necessary for availing the said services from Axis Bank Ltd. and to do all such acts that may be necessary to implement the foregoing resolution.

b) Certificate issued under Companies Act and or registration with the Charity Commissioners office duly attested as True Copy by the Authorized Signatory.

c) Attested copy of the Trust Deed / Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) (in the case of a Charitable Trust /organization regulated by a Trust Deed).
d)"Charge name" letter - To be signed by an authorized signatory in the format given below  

e) Authorized signatory Trustees photo id proof. (Passport/driving license/Voters id/Passport) duly attested as "True Copy" . An authorized signatory of the company should attest this.
