Merchants choosing Axis Bank to revive or activate MasterCard as a payment option on their website need to place a fixed deposit for Rs. 10,000/- with Axis Bank. This will enable Axis Bank to place a lien over it to cover any chargeback losses.

Please note: A merchant has to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 1000 in his account at any given time. All payouts will be made after this requirement has been fulfilled.

a) Debit Cards: In a country like India, a large portion of the market holds Debit Cards rather than Credit Cards. We enable merchants to capture this audience by processing Visa Electron Debit Cards of the following banks: Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Citibank, Corporation Bank, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, ING Vysya Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Punjab National Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and State Bank of India.

b) Direct Online Debit from bank account (Net Banking): This is a secure and increasingly popular method of online payment where the funds are transferred by the customer through the net banking interface into the merchant’s account via CCAvenue. We currently support ABN AMRO Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, Bank of Baroda (Retail & Corporate Banking), Bank of India, Canara Bank, Citibank, Corporation Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Karur Vysya Bank Limited, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab National Bank (Corporate Banking), The Federal Bank, The Bank of Rajasthan, South Indian Bank, State Bank Of India, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Travancore, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank Of India, Vijaya Bank and Yes Bank customers. This means that a customer may use his bank account for paying any CCAvenue sub merchant.

To get your payments you need to "capture" your transaction from the accounting module. When a transaction is successful from the payment gateway this is reflected in your account with CCAvenue in pending mode. You as the merchant will have to login to your account on www.CCAvenue.com and mark the transaction as shipped / executed and enter relevant data requested.

PAYMENT CYCLE:
You have 12 days from the receipt of the orders to execute and capture the order amounts. If your business model demands that you capture the amount in advance for future delivery, i.e. a period beyond 12 days from receipt of the order, and your customer is explicitly agreeable to this, then you may do so before the 12th day. Orders not captured will not be reflected in your account after this.

Orders can be accessed by logging into your CCAvenue Account with the username and password registered on sign-up.

All orders shipped/executed until Thursday midnight IST are processed for payment the following day. Transactions are then paid-out to your designated bank account by depositing cheques in Mumbai to your bank account (if your bank permits it) or by sending you a Citibank at par cheque, encashable in your city, by courier to reach you no later than the next Monday or Tuesday.

Modes of payment to choose from:
1) Direct NEFT settlement from CCAvenue to the merchant’s bank would ensure that the payouts happen without time loss and without dependency on the courier company. The dispatch details of the same will be emailed to you by Monday.

2) Citibank at par cheque payable as a local cheque in your city, will be couriered every Friday evening via a PROFESSIONAL Courier and the dispatch details of the same will be emailed to you the following Monday.
